Product Description

Forex Breakout Robot Professional Edition

The new version of the Breakout Pro Edition has the two new indicators from our highly successful Forex Breakout Genius. You will receive the Genius set files and other profitable set files will be forthcoming.

Designed for the Experienced or Professional Trader

The Forex Breakout Professional Edition Robot offers the trader the ability to trade any strategy on any currency during any time frame. With a built in magic number a trader can use multiple instances of the Robot on the same platform.

This way you can trade the London Open with one set of parameters and also trade the New York open on the same currency but with different trading rules on the same meta trader platform.

There is also a "day" selector that enables you to pick the days of the week you want the EA to trade.

Also included is the ability to whose a moving average as a qualifier or trend indicator to enable you to determine the trend during the session prior to placing a pending breakout trade.

If you wish to bracket the trade. i.e. place a long and a short at the end of a predetermined time period the EA has an OCO feature so that if your long order is triggered the short is automatically cancelled and vice versa.

Look at the screen shots of the inputs to see all of the settings that can be adjusted

Magic Number
The ‘magic number’ is used by the robot to keep track of its trades. If you trade the EA on different currencies or use different instances of it for the London open and the New York open make sure you use a different magic number for each.

Trade Comment
The Trade comment is being used to make it easy to distinguish manual orders, and orders placed by other robots, from the ones that have been placed by the Sure forex breakout robot. The default comment is "Sure FX breakout". You can change this to identify different instances of the EA

Risk Percent
The risk percent age is the amount of money risked as percentage of the available free margin per trade. If Risk Percent is set to 0 the robot will use the ‘fixed lots’ value.
The default value is 1 percent, and can be considered low risk. 2 -3 percent corresponds with medium risk and 4-5 percent is considered to be high risk. It is not recommended to exceed 5 percent risk.

Fixed Lots
Fixed Lots is being used as Risk Percent is set to 0. Fixed Lots has to be larger than 0. If there is not sufficient available margin left on your account, for the given Fixed Lot value, the trade will not be placed by the Sure forex breakout robot.

Take Profit Pips
Number of pips used for taking profit.

Take Profit Pips is Box Size
If set to true the Take Profit at the size of the trade box.  There is a theory that if the currency trades within a range (trade box) when it breaks out it will break out the size of the range (trade box)

TP Multiplier Box Size
If set to 1.0 the TP is the box size. If set to 0.75 the TP is 75% of the box size. If you find that your trades are reversing before they reach the full box size then try reducing the size of the box

Take Pips Additional
This allows for a second TP at the number of pips set.  For example, if set to 20 the EA will open two orders and close one when this level is hit.

Add Spread To Stop Loss
If TRUE the spread is added to the stop loss. If, for example, the stop loss is set to 20 pips and the spread is 3 pips, the new stop loss becomes 23 pips.

GMT auto
If set to true the EA will automatically set the trade time from your brokers server time. The default is true

GMT shift
The EA automatically sets the GMT shift to your broker.  If you are beacktesting set GMT auto to false and can set it manually by using the instructions below. To calculate the GMT offset for your broker click the market watch button on your metatrader, your broker time will be displayed at the top of the box above the currency pairs.

  • Please note: If your Market Watch is frozen that means that your broker is on the weekend holiday and that broker time is not valid for GMT offset. You should wait until your broker is on the trading day to set the proper GMT offset value!
  • Let’s pretend it says 18:00.  Then find out GMT here  http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/  let’s pretend GMT is 20:00. Then you know that the GMT setting for that broker is GMT +2.  Keep in mind that some brokers change with daylight savings time.
  •  Ask your broker about their GMT Offset if you are not sure!

EMA period
The robot uses an ‘Exponential Moving Average’ for its calculations. This enables the EA to recognize the existing trend in the market and place just one pending order in that direction.  The higher the number the larger the trend

Use OCO
If set to True this overrides the EMA period and the EA places both a buy and a sell pending order on either side of the trade box

Leave Pending OCO Order Live
